A Faster Website for Local Junk Removal Services
Redesigned Tidy Truck around two clear service paths, faster quote actions, stronger trust signals and a simpler local-service customer journey.
About The Project
Tidy Truck Junk Removal is a locally owned junk-removal and dumpster-rental company serving customers throughout the Twin Cities metro area. Although both services are related to clearing unwanted material, they solve different customer needs. Some customers want a team to remove everything for them, while others want a dumpster they can fill on their own schedule. The website therefore needed to communicate that difference immediately and make it easy for each customer to choose the correct service.
The client requested both a redesign and improved website performance. I reorganised the experience around fast decision-making, with Junk Removal and Dumpster Rental presented as two clearly separated service paths. High-intent actions such as requesting a junk-removal quote and checking dumpster availability are visible immediately rather than hidden inside a general contact journey.
The rest of the page supports those conversion actions without overwhelming visitors. A simple three-step “How It Works” section explains what happens after a request, Google reviews provide social proof and a service-area section confirms coverage across the Twin Cities metro. A “Good to Know” accordion answers common practical questions while keeping the page compact, and a callback form gives visitors an additional way to start a conversation if they are not ready to request a service immediately.

Problem
The client wanted the website redesigned and its performance improved, but the most important UX issue was clarity. Junk Removal and Dumpster Rental are two different service models, and visitors needed to understand the distinction quickly without reading through a large amount of general information.
The website also needed to accommodate users with different levels of intent. Some visitors arrive ready to request a quote immediately, while others need to understand how the service works, confirm whether their location is covered or read reviews before making contact. Quote and availability actions therefore needed to remain prominent without removing the supporting information that builds trust.
A local-service website also has a relatively short decision window. If visitors cannot immediately understand what the company does, where it works and what they should do next, they may simply return to search results and choose another provider. The redesign therefore needed to make service selection, trust and enquiry work together in a much tighter journey. Tidy_Truck_Junk_Removal_Case_St…

Unclear Service Choice
Customers needed to distinguish between full-service junk removal and dumpster rental without unnecessary browsing.

Slow Quote Path
High-intent visitors needed faster access to quote requests and dumpster-availability actions.

Limited Trust Context
Reviews, service coverage and process details needed to reassure visitors before they contacted the company.
Solution
Selling a product that doesn't exist yet on shelves meant the website itself had to carry the entire weight of belief. Communicating AR concepts, AI integration, and 3D visualization without overwhelming visitors was a delicate balance. The page needed cinematic impact while still guiding users smoothly toward a pre-order decision.Selling a product that doesn't exist yet on shelves meant the website itself had to carry the entire weight of belief. Quick Trust Signals
Reviews, service areas, FAQs and process information build confidence before the visitor makes contact.
Implementation
Implementation began with the page hierarchy and the main conversion paths. The hero was structured around the company’s primary proposition together with separate actions for junk-removal quotes and dumpster availability. This gives visitors an immediate route to conversion before they encounter the rest of the page.
The two core services were then implemented as separate image-led cards. Each card provides a short explanation and one focused action, reducing the amount of decision-making required from visitors who already know what kind of service they need.
A three-step process section was added to explain how the service works after a request. Google review content was integrated as social proof, and a service-area section was used to establish local coverage across the Twin Cities metro. Frequently asked questions were placed inside a “Good to Know” accordion so detailed information could remain available without taking over the page.
A callback request form was also added for users who prefer to ask a question before requesting a service. The visual system uses the client’s lime green against black, white and light grey, with green reserved primarily for buttons and key highlights so actions remain obvious.
The implementation also included website-performance improvement and responsive refinement, keeping the final local-service experience focused on speed, clarity and easy enquiry.

The Result
The redesigned website was delivered within five days and established a much clearer structure around Tidy Truck’s two core services. Junk Removal and Dumpster Rental now have distinct customer paths instead of being combined into a generic service presentation, and visitors can access the relevant quote or availability action quickly.
A three-step process explains what happens after contact, while Google reviews, service coverage, FAQ content and callback functionality provide reassurance for visitors who need more information before enquiring. The project also included a 30-day post-launch support commitment.
The supplied case study does not contain verified traffic, lead-volume or revenue analytics, so those outcomes are not claimed. The documented result is a faster and more focused local-service experience designed around clearer decision-making and a shorter path from initial visit to enquiry.
